Our beef is sourced from the finest UK and Irish farms and processed in accordance with UK and EU regulations. None of our cattle is ritually slaughtered for halal or kosher production. All cattle are pre-stunned prior to slaughter, in line with legal welfare standards. We work with the main UK and EU abattoirs to ensure all processes are carried out lawfully, ethically, and with the highest commitment to animal welfare.
Our jerky is made from fully cooked (dehydrated) beef, it's not raw or rare. That said, we're not doctors, and dietary advice during pregnancy varies. No. The jerky is shelf-stable and doesn't need refrigeration. Store it somewhere cool and dry. Shelf life is 9 months from production, though we'd bet it won't last a week once you open it.
